Terrific Stamping Techniques

Are you overwhelmed with all the choices of techniques and products for stamping and scrapbooking?

We will feature a new technique each week (for as long as we can think of them!). We'll have directions and photos and invite you to post your creations!

We want to hear from you. We want to see your rubber stamped cards, scrapbook pages and altered art projects.

I'm interested in heat embossing. I have seen cards and scrapbook pages using this technique. I have not purchased any of the products to do thistechnique due to not being sure of what to buy.

Anyone have suggestions on the best products, brands or anything like that?

Scrapdiva,

I love heat embossing. It's very easy once you get the basics down ... Yes, we've burned the paper. It must be a right of passage for all heat embossing enthusiasts.

Our first technique will be heat embossing, since you've asked!

We'll post some directions, and you can use the card sketches that are posted in the CARD SKETCHES. We're having a contest to pick the best cards. Get the cards posted by July 31st.

There will be a free stamp set from Queen Kat Designs for the winner.
