Disney Theme Album

We've been working on a Disney Theme album at Art Girlz Attic. Several trips to Florida to meet the Mouse -- and we have TONS of pictures.

To make it easier and quicker to scrap these memories, we decided we'd do a theme album. Using only a few different types of papers, numerous embellishments (you can NEVER use too many), our album is coming along nicely.

No pictures have been added yet. So what are we doing? Check back and we'll be posting pictures of the album. SIMPLE layouts you can use over and over again ... SKETCHES to have handy when you run out of ideas.

Our blog has pictures of the Disney album (before adding pictures). We think 20 pages (backgrounds without pictures) were made in about 3 hours. Not too bad for scrapbookers who take an hour or more on one page!

Then we had a weekend crop at the beach (maybe next time you can join us?!), and added pictures, and in just under 2 hours we were able to add pictures to all the pages and even add a few more. Of course we still have journaling and titles to add, but those are usually added quickly after the hard work is finished.

So glad you like the Disney Album. We're making 3 of them! And they are all different. Will be posting more pictures.

All albums are 8x8, which is a nice size. Had liked 6x6 (brag book) but seems much too small, and sometimes 12x12 seems ENORMOUS.

Although we tried to keep to a limited color scheme, we just couldn't do it!

Making simple layouts in advance allows quick assembly of scrapbook albums, especially if you are at a crop.
