SEPTEMBER Card Contest! Join Us!

We're having another card contest in September. Card Sketches will be posted in this thread, along with other suggestions for cards (theme or materials to be used).

Please upload your cards by Sept 30, 2007. The Art-Girlz team will vote on the cards that fit the contest sketches and theme the best. Winner(s) will receive the OCTOBER Kit of the Month FREE!

There's more exciting information coming!

Sketches for September 2007 Card CONTEST

WEEK 1 CARD SKETCH:

use the sketch as a guide, we have not put alot of detail into it so that you can use your imagination. For example, the 3 round shapes can be paper circles, buttons, flowers or anything round.

you can also rotate the sketch to suit your vision!

We'll be updating our site with directions for posting your creations.

I've been looking for something to get me creating again. So much to do over the summer and I haven't had much time to do things just because. I made those explosion boxes and they were fun, but they were given away.

I like this sketch and think I have some good ideas for it.

How many cards can we submit?

I am really new to card making. I'm a scrapbooker. but I found that there are so many scraps left that I needed to do something with all that paper. Going to try to make some cards. The sketch looks interesting.

We're trying to get our "system" to upload a photo-album software. We can have some fun with that, even have slide shows of the artwork!

We'll be letting you know what to do, and we're going to be posting 2 sketches tonight!

Have fun creating some cards.

The sketches look good. never have made a pocket card so that looks tempting.

I need to make some holiday cards so I should just break down and try it.

Never seen a pocket card before and I agree with Shaunie that it looks tempting. I can see making the pockets and adding a gift card to it. And put something special on the card so they will want to keep that too.

I am sure my friends and family never throw out my cards. At least notin front of me.
